Good Morning, Welcome on Board the train to the Royal Town of Klang!  

Pamper yourself to a wonderful world of countryside view by train. As passes by the places seen through the windows, you will witness many of the places from rural to newer townships that makes up of the country.

Journey takes us pass through the countryside before arriving at the city of Klang Town. Here we take a walk around to see the daily happenings where people come to eat or to market their wares such as clothing’s and many more before we arrive at the Jetty to take the local boat to Crab Island.

The journey from the city to the port was formely known as “Port Swetternham” takes us about an hour to arrive. Pulau Ketam or otherwise known as Crab Island is a fishing village with a population of about 8,000 in which the houses are all built on stilts. Getting across from the mainland by boat, the abundance of mangrove trees which plays an importance to our eco-climate system, are all lined up along the muddy banks.

An island of mostly fishermen and houses are built on stilts. Many of the seafood produce are from this island such as the salted fish and crabs. As the mangrove trees are abundance here, it certainly attracts these crabs as their nesting ground. Try out the wonderful locally cooked crabs of your choice (own expense) and a walk along the wooden planks path is certainly an experience. If you need to take an optional tour to the fish rearing farm, it certainly gives more knowledge of how is been farmed. 

Guided Tour to explore the residential area, market place etc.

Local lunch provided.

As we finished the tour, it’s time to take the boat back to mainland and proceed back to Kuala Lumpur by train.
